VULVA is a Rotterdam sludge/garage-doomduo – Kim Hoorweg (bass/vocals) and Nadya van Osnabrugge (drums/vocals). Taking influences from bands like Kyuss, OM, and IDLES their set goes from dragging slow riffs to repetitive fast noise.

With songs like “We only fuck so u can cum” and “Kill the baby” or “Shame” the screams and screeches of Vulva will make you think and move as they proved opening up for Pussy Riot at Tivoli Vredenburg (2019) and playing festivals like Grauzone and Roadburn.

The song “Kill the Baby” led to anti – abortion protests in the Netherlands. Even the parliament asked questions about the accompanying video, but let that not distract from the fact that Woe to the Wicked is a great musical journey that goes from raw, punky songs like “Kill the Baby”, “We Only Fuk So You Can Cum” to slower wayward sludge songs like “Men” or “Forsaken” where Vulva skillfully plays with atmosphere and noise.
